About The Coalition

What started as a hospital preparedness group has today evolved into a representation of hospitals, health departments, emergency management agencies, emergency medical services and representation of numerous other healthcare and community organizations. This group is now known as the District 10 Healthcare Coalition.

District 10 is compromised of an Executive Committee consisting of two
hospital representatives, in addition to a representative from EMA, EMA and health departments. This group provides grant oversight and is the
Fiduciary Agent for all district level funds.

In addition the Healthcare Coalitions consists of m e m b e r from the following: Hospitals, (Acute and Critical Access, Psychiatric, State), Local Health Departments, Emergency Management Agencies, Emergency Medical Services, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Rural Health Clinics, Long
Term Care, Assisted Living, and End Stage Renal Dialysis.

Training exercises, networking of coalition members and knowledge of district and state resources has made Healthcare Coalition ready to meet the needs of District 10.

Indiana District 10 Healthcare Coalition consists of 12 counties in
Southwest Indiana. Those counties are: Crawford, Daviess, Dubois, Gibson, Knox, Martin, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh and Warrick.
